    Centrelink’s pension loans scheme (PLS) allows older property owning Australians to receive a tax free payment each fortnight to help supplement their retirement income.

    For many, the PLS may be more favourable alternative to a reverse mortgage, or reducing their expenditure.

    • Identifies which clients may benefit from the PLS, and
    • How the PLS can interact with a clients other objectives such as estate planning.
