Episode 124 | Residential aged care changes from 1 July 2025
A new Aged Care Act will commence from 1 July 2025 containing the largest reforms to the system in more than a decade. This session will help with understanding the financial aspects of residential aged care including:
Review the changes to fees compared to pre-1 July 2025 residential aged care entrants
Analyse the new means test.
Advice strategies and considerations that can reduce aged care fees.
Further considerations for clients who may wish to enter before 1 July 2025 and grandfathering arrangements
