How this impacts existing Asgard users after 29 November 2021

Where possible, we sourced personal identification information from existing records.  For those we couldn’t identify, we requested users via email to send us their ID information for verification. The grace period for unidentified advisers and support staff to provide us their ID ended on 31 March 2022.

What happens if ID is not provided by 31 March 2022?

AdviserNET and Adviser Code access will be removed if we are unable to complete your ID verification requirements.  Any associated clients will be transferred to a new adviser within the same dealer group or become unadvised.

To regain access new onboarding forms will need to be completed (with copies of ID) and sent to dealersvc@asgard.com.au.

How to securely provide information to Asgard

We understand there are instances where we need to you send us sensitive information such as providing your identity details (for example, within the new adviser access form), and where we require you to send in copies of records such as a driver’s licence or Medicare card. To securely provide client or personal information to Asgard you should use one of the following methods so that any personal information is protected.

  1. Fileshare - this is a secure file sharing service accessible via a web browser and allows users to upload information and documents.
  2. Encrypt confidential files and email to us. Please refer to your software provider for instructions.

For more information on how to use Fileshare and email encryption, refer to our data protection guide.
