Yes. LifeFocus Super/Pension and Personal Choice Private Super/Pension accounts will not move to BT Panorama.
AMP's PortfolioCare and WealthView accounts will be transferred to MyNorth Investment, Super and Pension.
Standalone eCASH and CASH Connect accounts will also not move to BT Panorama and we’re planning to close the accounts following the move to BT Panorama.
Impacted advisers and clients will receive separate communications about these changes.
Most Asgard products were closed to new applications in 2021.
To prepare for the move, we have closed the remaining eWRAP products to new investors and members effective 18 May 2025. These include:
New accounts will continue to be opened within Asgard Open eWRAP Super/Pension for super to pension transfers and reversionary pensions. Other life events where a new account is required for existing members will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Super/Pension accounts will be moved via an intra-fund transfer (IFT). Both Asgard and BT Panorama are part of the same Asgard Independence Plan Division Two (Div 2) super fund. As such, members will remain in the same super fund with the same trustee, and there will be no change in beneficial ownership on assets that are transferred from the Asgard Plan to the Panorama Super Plan within the Div 2 super fund.
Investment accounts will be moved to BT Panorama except for certain non-transferring assets. The move won't trigger any Capital Gains Tax (CGT), transaction costs or buy/sell spreads for transferring assets.
For Investment accounts, there will be a change to the administrator/custodian from Asgard Capital Management Limited (ACML) to BT Portfolio Services Ltd ABN 73 095 055 208, AFSL No. 233715 (BTPS) due to the move to BT Panorama.
We are planning to move open Asgard clients' accounts to BT Panorama in the first half of 2026 . We will notify you of the exact date of the transition weekend in 2026.
All accounts will be moved over the scheduled transition weekend. We will notify you of the date well ahead of time.
If you are registered on Panorama, you can request to move your Asgard clients to BT Panorama individually at any time up until 30 September 2025.
No. There is no option to retain existing accounts on the Asgard platform. Clients who do not wish to move to BT Panorama can request to close their account, request to transfer their investments out via an in-specie transfer (Investment accounts) or rollover to another super fund (Super accounts). They can do that by completing the relevant form available from the Resources section on the Getting ready page.
Yes. To allow us to prepare for the move on the transition weekend, there will be a trade and transaction freeze for a short period prior to the transition weekend date.
Read more on the trade and transaction freeze.
There will be an outage during the transition weekend only, and access will be available to all users on the following Monday so there will be minimal disruption.
You and your clients will be notified in the days following the transition that it has been completed successfully, and your clients will receive a welcome pack with instructions on how to log into BT Panorama and activate their account.
If you subscribe to Account Action emails, you will receive an Account Action email on the Tuesday morning after the transition that includes a list of all clients who were migrated to BT Panorama.
You will also be able to view which accounts have moved via the AdviserNET closed accounts screen that contains access to historical information including payment details, transaction history, account actions, ongoing fees, template history and more. To access the closed account screen from the AdviserNET home screen, navigate to Reporting > Client reports > Closed accounts menu.
The move to BT Panorama involves moving clients from Asgard to BT Panorama technology and updating account terms to match BT Panorama Investments and BT Panorama Super. For Super, clients will stay within the same Superannuation Fund.
For a product-led transfer such as this to proceed, advisers don't need to provide advice. However, changes in account features and fees may prompt clients to seek advice, which could alter the basis of previous advice. Whether SOAs or ROAs are required depends on factors like the adviser-client agreement, prior advice given and any changes to the client's personal situation.
Licensees should consider their own compliance requirements for regulated advice documents, following their usual decision-making framework and regulatory obligations, including standards set by their Australian financial services licensee.
Some clients may be required to complete identity verifications post the move to BT Panorama. We will notify you prior to the move if any additional identity verifications will be required.
In the meantime, we recommend you confirm details for your clients via 'Know Your Customer (KYC)' on AdviserNET when it's due and update any missing or incorrect details ahead of the move.
Most existing advice fee arrangements will be transferred to BT Panorama on the day we move your clients' accounts and will continue until their expiry date.
A small number of arrangements cannot be transferred, read more on fees and charges.
BT Panorama is planning to change its pricing in October 2025. You can find out more about these BT Panorama pricing changes on our pricing webpage and other fee related information on fees and charges.
For the month in which the accounts are moved to BT Panorama, administration and advice fees will be deducted in two parts:
Yes. Advisers' FPS subscriptions will be transferred to BT Panorama, granting advisers access to comprehensive customer information within FPS, including closing transactions from Asgard and new opening account transactions from Panorama. Communications and more information will be provided to ensure that FPS vendors, dealer groups and advisers understand the transition process of FPS subscriptions.
There will be changes to product features and impacted clients will be notified. You can read about all changes related to the move on the Getting ready page.
Yes. All existing POAs will be carried across to BT Panorama.
No. Existing ATO/LATO on clients’ accounts will not be moved to BT Panorama. Read more on this change and your options from Getting ready.
Yes. Existing correspondence preferences will be moved to BT Panorama. However, if a client's current preferred communication format is paper, we encourage them to switch to online, so they can access them more quickly as an email notification. Once using BT Panorama, your clients will have access to the document library, where they can store, share and access important documents.
Note BT Panorama does not offer the option to switch to paper correspondence.
We will move 7 years of client statements to BT Panorama. Historical transactions and performance history will not be moved. Access to AdviserNET will be available until early 2027 to allow you to access historical transaction information for your clients. Your Financial Planning Software (FPS) will also provide access to historical transactions and performance history.
Advisers will have read only access until early 2027. The closed accounts screen (accessed via AdviserNET Home > reporting > client reports menu) provides access to information related to closed accounts. This includes access to historical information including payment details, transaction history, account actions, ongoing fees, template history and more.
Clients will have read only access to their key account information via Investor Online until early in 2027. This includes access to payment and transaction details, account actions, portfolio valuation, ongoing fees and statements and correspondence we've sent to your clients.
No. Closed accounts will not be moved to BT Panorama.
Clients will have read only access to key information related to their accounts closed after 30 June 2023 via Investor Online until early 2027.
There are actions you can take to help prepare such as registering for BT Panorama and updating your clients' details. Read more on the Getting ready page.

Online login information will be provided in the client's welcome pack.
Yes, our BT Panorama mobile app is available to both advisers and clients and is accessible with the same logins users use to log in via a browser on the desktop.
For security reasons, BT Panorama uses enhanced security, requiring clients to have a valid mobile number to log in. For more information on missing data impacts, refer to Update your clients' details.
We recommend all clients provide their email and mobile number, so they can engage fully online with the platform. Alternative processes will be in place to support clients without these details, but they won't enjoy the full experience BT Panorama offers.
BT Panorama supports clients' needs ranging from simple to complex, with the choice of a Compact or Full menu.

The menu your clients will be moved to is dependent on the product they are invested in. Refer to investment menu mapping on the Getting ready page.
After the move to BT Panorama, the menu can be changed by completing the BT Panorama ‘Change of menu’ form.
Asgard templates will be moved to adviser portfolios. Read more on this change and your options from Getting ready.
BT Panorama makes it easy to invest, offering flexible options and high-quality service. Once the accounts have moved, you and your clients will have access to a wide range of investment options from BT and other leading providers.
Term deposits offered through the investment menu of Asgard Superannuation products and Asgard Investment products will gradually be removed to allow them to reach maturity prior to the transition weekend.
12-month terms have already been removed from the investment menu. On 1 September 2025, 6-month terms will be removed, and 3-month terms will follow on 1 December 2025. This means there will be no existing term deposits to move at the time of the transition weekend.
BT Panorama has a range of term deposits with a selection of interest payment maturity options. There is no establishment fee, and clients are kept up to date with automatic alerts. Once your clients' accounts are moved, they can apply for a term deposit with a simple online application.
Term deposits on BT Panorama will be available after the move, offering 1, 3 and 6-month and 1, 3 and 5-year terms.
Once you are registered and log into BT Panorama, you can see the available options from Products > Term Deposits.
To prepare for the move to BT Panorama, Asgard eWRAP Investment products will no longer be offering the margin loan feature from 18 May 2025.
We will provide investors (and their advisers) with an existing eWRAP Margin Loan, or an external loan linked to an Asgard eWRAP Investment account with information about how this change impacts their loan and any linked account in June 2025.
Once your clients' accounts are moved, they will have access to Westpac's margin lending solution which offers an easy and effective way to borrow to invest in a wider range of assets on BT Panorama, helping your investment clients to diversify their investments and build wealth.
Once you are registered and log into BT Panorama, you can check the available options from Products > Margin Lending.
BT Panorama offers a wider range of investment styles and asset classes compared to Asgard, through diversified, sector and specialist funds.
Once you are registered and log into BT Panorama, you can check the available options from Products > Managed funds.
Most of your clients' assets will move to BT Panorama. However, certain investment options such as options that are not on BT Panorama or long-term suspended assets may not be moved. Read more on the Getting ready page.
Illiquid funds' units will be transferred to BT Panorama, including any pending redemptions.
You'll be able to buy and sell ASX listed securities, including ETFs, with timely and tailored updates through BT Panorama's Market Information Dashboard, where you can access news, ASX announcements and more.
Once you are registered and log into BT Panorama, you can check the available options from Products > Listed Securities.
BT Panorama does not offer the ability to elect to reinvest dividends for shares held on a Custodial share account. As a result, effective 18 May 2025, we have removed the ability to elect a DRP on Asgard.
Asgard clients who have existing DRP elections on their Custodial share account will have this dividend election option switched to cash dividends from mid-July 2025. We’ll notify impacted clients in June 2025.
This change will happen automatically. There is nothing for advisers and clients to do. Once the change has been made, future dividends received for the listed securities will be paid in cash into their Asgard Cash account for Investment accounts and into their Transaction account for Super/Pension accounts. The change does not impact income distribution elections for managed funds, which will be transferred to BT Panorama as part of the move.
If your clients hold assets on a HIN, the HIN will be transferred to BT Panorama on the transition weekend.
If they have not traded or held listed securities on their share account for over 18 months, the HIN is considered dormant. Impacted clients will be contacted regarding cancellation of the dormant HIN with the option to instruct us to keep and move the dormant HIN to BT Panorama.
Note that there are different options to hold shares on BT Panorama and it is easy to request a new HIN. Once you are registered and log into BT Panorama, go to Help & support > Listed secturities > Applying for a Holder Identification Number (HIN) for more information.
For Investment accounts, we will require your clients' consent to automatically move their eCASH/CASH Connect account balance to the BT Cash Management Account when we move their investment accounts to BT Panorama. Read more on the Getting ready page, including how you and your clients will be able to provide positive cash consent via AdviserNET or Investor Online eForms (or via a downloadable PDF form) from 20 July 2025.
Standalone eCASH and CASH Connect account balances will be paid to the nominated bank account and we're planning to close the standalone accounts following the move to BT Panorama. Impacted investors will receive separate communication.
Yes. For Super accounts, cash balances will be moved automatically to the new transaction account during the transition weekend.
Yes. Linked bank account details will automatically be moved to the new BT Panorama account, but for Investment accounts this will only apply if your clients have provided positive cash consent for their cash balances to be moved.
No. Existing direct debit arrangements will not be moved to the new BT Panorama account and will have to be reestablished following the move. For more information on establishing direct debits, login to your BT Panorama account and go to Help & support.
Clients will be required to inform third parties of updated account details. New account details, including BPAY, will be provided to clients in communications issued closer to the move date.
Yes. Existing investment instructions such as an investment profile or regular investment plans will be moved to BT Panorama.
BT Panorama has a selection of insurance offers from TAL and AIA with the flexibility to tailor your clients’ cover to meet their needs.
Visit TAL Adviser Centre and AIA Adviser Centre for more information.
Your clients' existing Super-funded insurance policy (Protection Plans and Priority Protection for Platform Investors) linked to their account, their insurance policy number, policy terms, type of cover and premium amount won't change because of the move to BT Panorama.
Their payment authority will also continue, however, there may be changes to the timing of your clients' insurance premium deductions under that authority. More information will be provided to your clients in the detailed significant event notice we'll send to them at least 60 days prior to the move.
We are planning to move existing APPP insurance covers linked to Super accounts to BT Panorama. Existing insurance cover and policy terms will continue, and claims will continue to be processed. We are also working to ensure that APPP policy details will be accessible within BT Panorama following the move. Further information will be provided closer to the move.
Standalone APPP insurance cover will not be moved to BT Panorama. Existing standalone insurance cover and policy terms will continue, and claims will continue to be processed.
Additionally, from 25 August 2025, administration services for APPP insurance policies (standalone and within Super) have transferred from Asgard Capital Management Limited (ACML) to an external administrator, Australian Group Insurances Pty Ltd (AGI). If your clients currently pay their APPP Standalone insurance premiums via direct debit, they will need to resubmit their direct debit details. This will allow their direct debit arrangement to continue without disruption. Read more on APPP administrator change impacts on Getting ready.
As this move will be done via an intra fund transfer, the client's account will be moved to BT Panorama, and the claims will continue to be processed.
Existing pension details including the pension start date, amounts and frequencies will be transferred to BT Panorama with no impact on pension deeming rates or transfer balance cap.
Once their accounts have moved to BT Panorama, your clients will benefit from increased flexibility of the timing of their pension payments and other benefits such as pension refresh capability.
Some restrictions may apply to moved pension accounts such as the ability to transfer to accumulation phase due to differences in recordings of cost base information. More information will be provided closer to the move in 2026.
The only change will occur in the month of the transition weekend when pension payments will be brought forward which will result in drawdowns placed if there are insufficient funds in the transaction account to fund payments. More information will be provided in 2026.
Scheduled pension payments for clients often rely on the sale of investments. In the event of delays to investment redemptions, particularly during the end of financial year period, pension payments can be delayed.
To reduce the likelihood of these delays, from October 2025, the minimum transaction account balance for pension members on BT Panorama will increase from $2,000 to $4,000. This means the $4,000 minimum transaction account balance will apply to Asgard pension accounts once moved to BT Panorama.
If the transaction account balance is below $4,000 for pension accounts, or $2,000 for non-pension accounts, a drawdown may occur, where investments held in the account will be sold (in accordance with the account's drawdown strategy) to increase the transaction account to the account’s minimum transaction account balance requirement.
Yes. Term allocated pensions will be moved to BT Panorama.
Yes. Centrelink Schedules will be available online in the BT Panorama document library and will not be mailed to clients. BT Panorama also allows for Centrelink Schedules to be requested online at any time.
Yes. Advisers and members will be able to view the total concessional and non-concessional contribution summary for FY 2024/25 and FY 2025/26. Personal contribution information will also be moved to BT Panorama for the same financial years to enable personal deduction notices.
Once we move your clients' accounts, you will be able to perform these actions to manage contributions:
There are 3 ways to make a personal contribution in BT Panorama:
For more information about contributions on BT Panorama, including concessional and non-concessional contributions, log into your BT Panorama account then go to Help & support > Product & investments > Manage contributions.
BT Panorama has a different USI. Super clients will need to complete a new Choice of Super Fund form and give it to their employer following the move of their account. Your clients' welcome pack will also include the required form with the correct USI details pre-filled. They'll receive this once the move is complete.
To give your clients enough time to do this, we will have a USI redirect in place once we move the accounts. More information will be provided closer to the move in 2026.
PTDN received on Asgard prior to the move will be accepted but may not be processed until the move has been completed.
Members will also be able to provide a personal tax deduction notice or variation in respect of contributions made to Asgard after they are moved to BT Panorama. Advisers are also able to submit these notices online on behalf of their clients.
Yes. Beneficiaries will automatically be moved across to the equivalent Panorama Super nomination.
As part of our commitment to ensuring minimal disruption, we will launch a binding death nomination offer on BT Panorama before moving your clients' accounts. All existing binding death nominations will be transferred to BT Panorama. If your Asgard clients elected the online correspondence method, they will no longer receive binding death nomination expiry notices/notifications via post after the move to BT Panorama as these expiry notifications will be sent electronically.
There will generally be no Capital Gains Tax on the transfer of assets to BT Panorama as there is no change in beneficial ownership. If your clients hold non-transferring assets you will be contacted separately.
Taxes will generally not be deducted from superannuation member accounts at the time we move the accounts, except if members have received a rollover during the 2025/26 financial year from an untaxed source or for members who received contributions and have not provided a tax file number. The tax provisioned on income, contributions and capital gains for the 2025/26 financial year will be transferred to the BT Panorama account and deducted from the BT Panorama account, together with taxes on income received in the BT Panorama account, through monthly PAYG instalments, the annual tax payment process or on account closure or commencement of pension. There are some differences in the way in which tax is calculated and applied in BT Panorama.
More information will be provided in the detailed significant event notice we will provide to clients in 2026.
Shortly after the move of accounts is complete, new account details will be shown on myGov.
Contributions (super only) or retirement phase events (pension only) may be delayed in displaying on a client's myGov account during the freeze period only. This potential delay needs to be considered when assessing contribution caps and transfer balance caps during that time.
In the first year after the move, your clients' annual statement will be split into two documents (one for the period before the accounts were moved and one for the period after).
There will also be two PAYG payment summaries except for the annual Salary Continuance Insurance (SCI) PAYG payment summary, which will be consolidated for the year of the transfer. The payment summaries will provide your clients with the same information they're used to receiving in their preferred communication format – paper or online.
All newly issued statements and historical statements (for up to 7 years only) will be made available online in the document library on BT Panorama. You and your clients will also have continuous access to statement history via AdviserNET and Investor Online until 2027.
We will support you and your clients in year-end activities with clear communications and guides.
