Our BT Panorama SMSF Establishment Service takes the hard work out of setting up your client’s self managed super fund.

Everything you need to establish your client’s SMSF

  • We provide all the required paperwork to establish an SMSF including a trust deed.

  • We register the SMSF with the ATO and apply for the Tax File Number and Australian Business Number.

  • Your client also applies to open either a BT Panorama Investments account with its integrated CMA or a standalone BT CMA Saver account, depending on their choice. 

  • Once the SMSF is established, you can add our optional BT Panorama SMSF Administration Service to look after your client’s SMSF tax return, independent audit and help your client stay compliant.

One simple online application for the SMSF and either a BT Panorama Investments account with its integrated CMA or a standalone BT CMA Saver account.

We will provide you with the documents to establish your client’s SMSF, ready for their signature.

We register the SMSF with the ATO and apply for the Tax File Number and Australian Business Number.

Once the SMSF has been activated you can rollover your client’s super and start investing.

SMSF establishment with individual trustees

  • Providing the documents to establish the SMSF, including:

    - Product disclosure statement (PDS)
    - Member applications and minutes

  • Registering the SMSF as a regulated fund with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO)

  • Registering the fund for a Tax File Number (TFN) and Australian Business Number (ABN)

  • Providing an investment strategy template

  • Setting up either a BT Panorama Investments account with an integrated BT Cash Management Account or a standalone BT CMA Saver account

SMSF establishment with a corporate trustee

$1,175*inc GST

This covers:

  • Providing the documents to establish the SMSF, including:
    - Trust Deed
    - Trustee declarations and consents

    - Product disclosure statement (PDS)
    - Member applications and minutes

  • Registering the SMSF as a regulated fund with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO)

  • Registering the fund for a Tax File Number (TFN) and Australian Business Number (ABN)

  • Providing an investment strategy template

  • Setting up either a BT Panorama Investments account with an integrated BT Cash Management Account or a standalone BT CMA Saver account

  • Establishing a company to act as corporate trustee of the SMSF

  • Registering the company with the Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC). The $495 company registration fee is included.
