Making a claim on insurance through super

We’re here to help you when you need us the most.

When you have insurance in your BT super account, you can make a claim for situations that you’re insured for. 

How to claim

Please call 132 135 and one of our Customer Relations consultants will help check your insurance cover and gather an outline of your claim. 

If you’re unable to call, your carer, financial adviser, family member or friend can also call to notify us that you need to make a claim.

Timeline for a claim

Within 24 to 48 hours a Case Manager will contact you to help you complete the forms related to your claim. 

When you return the forms, we’ll work with the group insurer related to your claim to process your forms. 

If more information is needed, a Claims Assessor will contact you within 7 days. 

Otherwise, we aim to process your claim within 14 days. We’ll contact you with the outcome and details of anything else you may need to consider, as well as payment of your claim and access to wellbeing programs to support your recovery.


BT Super
Please log into your BT Super account at bt.com.au/btsuperportal or via the BT Panorama app.

BT Super for Life
Please log into your BT Super for Life account via Westpac LiveBank of MelbourneSt.George or BankSA online banking.
