BT is once again sponsoring the School for Social Entrepreneurs (SSE), this year supporting its Accelerator program designed to help emerging social entrepreneurs.
We have proudly supported the SSE since 2014, when we sponsored its Incubator program. This was an initiative designed to help budding social entrepreneurs develop the idea for their business into a commercially viable concept. This year we're supporting the SSE's four-month Accelerator program, which is for social entrepreneurs that have moved beyond the initial idea stage and are now ready to develop their business and their networks.
The 18-person program is running between July and October 2016 with study blocks in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide. Participants will be able to work with our mentors to develop their social enterprise to grow their impact and sustainability. The Accelerator program delivers practical business advice to the students in areas such as how to maximise their social impact, how to pitch, business planning, marketing, governance and communication.
