Back-to-back wins for BT, Life Insurance Company of the Year

For the second year in a row, BT has won the Platinum Award – Life Company of the Year at the Association of Financial Advisers (AFA) / Strategic Insights (SI) Life Company of the Year Awards, held in Sydney last night.

In addition to being named the Life Insurance Company of the Year, BT won the awards for Claims Team of the Year and best Income Protection product, also for the second year running.

Scott Moffitt, Head of Life Operations at BT, said that BT’s commitment to delivering superior customer service and innovative products underpins its success – and the awards recognise the life insurance team’s efforts to be the market leader in both respects.

“The team at BT are very excited about winning the Life Insurance Company of the Year award back-to-back,” Mr Moffitt said. “The three awards that BT collected together reinforce our longstanding dedication to giving quality service to our customers, particularly at claim time when it matters most, as well as our drive to bring to market the best products.”

The Life Company of the Year awards are based on independent research conducted by Strategic Insight and incorporate both quantitative and qualitative analysis including adviser feedback.

The AFA / SI awards are the latest accolades cementing BT’s position as an industry leader, with BT also winning the Life Insurance Company of the Year and Best Claims Outcome and Customer Experience awards at the 2016 Australian Insurance Awards (AB+F), and the Consumer Choice: Most Recommended Company and Best Total Customer Experience awards at the AFA / Beddoes Institute Awards.
