Matthew Rady was appointed Chief Executive Officer BT Financial Group in October 2021.
BT is part of the Westpac Group and has a 50 year history of providing wealth management services and supporting financial advisers. BT is one of Australia's leading platforms providers with $131 billion funds under administration, with a vision to enable quality financial advice to thrive.
Before joining BT, Matt was Chief Executive Officer at Allianz Retire+. He has more than 30 years’ experience in the financial services and wealth industries with executive roles in companies including Macquarie Group and global financial services technology company, IRESS.
Matt is also a Non-Executive Director at JDRF, a global not-for-profit supporting type 1 diabetes research.
Jason has worked across all segments of the Financial Services industry during his more than 30 year career, having spent the last 14 years at BT. He is currently Head of Platforms Distribution, overseeing the distribution and support of both Asgard and Panorama and working with dealer groups, asset consultants, fund managers, and advisers.
Jason is passionate about leveraging his team’s insights across the thousands of advice practices they work with to support the growth of financial advice. He holds a strong belief, evidenced throughout his career, that advised clients are better able to meet their goals in life.
Jason holds degrees in Business and in Investment Management, and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. A proud Queenslander, Jason enjoys the outback and hiking, and spending time with his ever growing family including eight grandchildren.
Annabelle joined as Chief Product Officer for BT Financial Group in May 2024. She has extensive experience across the wealth management and banking industry spanning product management, product development, distribution, technology, government relations and compliance. Prior to joining BT, she spent over 23 years with Macquarie Group in senior leadership roles within the Wealth Management and Business Banking divisions.
Annabelle has a Bachelor of Economics from Sydney University and a Masters of Business Administration from the Australian Graduate School of Management.
Lucy joined the BT Executive team in September 2022 as the Chief Risk Officer for BT. Lucy has approximately 25 years’ experience in the Financial Services sector having worked for professional firms and international banks in Sydney, London, Singapore and New Zealand. Prior to commencing as BT CRO, Lucy had completed 4 years as a senior Head of Internal Audit at Westpac, responsible for auditing Financial Crime, Compliance and Conduct as well as the Specialist Businesses Division consisting of the Superannuation, Platforms and Investments businesses as well as Auto Finance, Banking as a Service and the Pacific.
Previous to this Lucy worked for Citibank as the APAC and Japan Regional Director for Internal Audit for Compliance and AML, based in Singapore and Sydney. Prior to Citi, Lucy worked at Barclays Bank PLC in both London and Singapore as the Internal Audit Director responsible for Compliance and Central Functions for the APAC region. Prior to Barclays, Lucy again worked for Westpac Group Audit in Sydney and Wellington, and before that, PwC in London and Sydney. Lucy currently leads a team of approximately 25 staff and has led similar sized teams for the past 8 years. Lucy is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Institute of Internal Auditors, and holds and Bachelor of Commerce from Australian National University.
Greg was appointed Head of Technology, BT Financial Group in December 2023, with accountability for all BT technology strategy, delivery and operational management. Prior to that, Greg was Head of Technology for the Platforms business area in BT after joining BT in June 2020. Greg has over 27 years’ experience in the financial services and technology fields, including prior senior management roles at ANZ Banking Group, ING Australia and Accenture. Greg has a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical/Information Systems) (Hons) from the University of Sydney.
Sarah Britt joined Westpac in early 2021 and is now Head of BCM & Regulatory Affairs for BT. She has over 25+ years’ experience in legal (predominantly litigation), line 2 compliance and risk and regulatory roles in Australia, Singapore and the UK. Sarah has spent the past 20 years working in large financial services organisations leading high performing teams. In addition to managing Regulatory Affairs for BT, Sarah leads a number of risk and regulatory change programs.
Andrew Doyle joined as Chief Financial Officer of BT Financial Group in May 2021.
Before joining BT, Andrew was the CFO for Wealth Management at the Commonwealth Bank, and prior to that was the CFO of CFS Global Asset Management. Andrew has more than 25 years’ experience in the financial services and wealth industries and has held executive roles with the Commonwealth Bank, Bankwest and also PwC Consulting.
Stuart was appointed Head of Investment Product Solutions for BT Investment Solutions in March 2022.
Prior to joining BT, Stuart has worked across a number of executive roles within the Macquarie Group, both in Australia and overseas. He has more than 20 years’ experience in the financial services, funds management, banking and wealth with specialist expertise in Investment solutions, product design and distribution.
Stuart has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of New South Wales majoring in Accounting and Finance.
Mike has extensive and varied corporate experience having spent the last 5 years at Westpac and BT, with 12+ years in Professional Services. He was most recently BT’s Chief of Staff, overseeing the Executive office, internal governance functions, and financial crime and privacy capabilities which support our Advisers and investors. Mike holds a degree in Business and a Post-grad certificate in Management from MGSM. Outside of work, Mike enjoys spending time with his family, going for a long run, and watching all the sport he can.
Ronna joined Westpac in 2020 working with Customer & Corporate Services in transformation, focussing on complex strategic and operational problems, at a divisional and enterprise level.
She has more than 25 years’ experience in financial services and professional services and during her time at KPMG worked very closely with BT. She has also worked at AMP, Suncorp and CBA in wealth management and insurance.
With an approach to problem solving honed through years of transformation leadership, Ronna engages broadly and thinks laterally to resolve some of the most pressing reform challenges in the sector in a sustainable and replicable way.
Ronna has a Bachelor of Commerce from Wollongong University.
