BT announces new Chief Product Officer

BT today announces the appointment of Annabelle Kline as its new Chief Product Officer, commencing 1 May 2024.

Ms Kline is an experienced financial services professional with over 23 years in leadership positions at Macquarie Bank, including Chief Product Owner for Wealth Management and most recently Head of Value Added Services, where she was responsible for developing and executing the platform strategy for Business Bank.

BT CEO Matt Rady said he is delighted to welcome Annabelle to the team.

“Annabelle joins us at an important time where we are focused on growth and continuing to build our offer to help quality financial advice to thrive. Annabelle has spent almost all of her career in the Wealth platform space and it is great to have someone with such strong experience coming to BT.

“Following Westpac’s decision to retain the business we are now looking forward to the future and building a simpler and stronger business,” Mr Rady said.

The Chief Product Officer role is responsible for leading BT’s platforms business and plays a key role on the BT leadership team reporting to Matt Rady.

Annabelle Kline said: “I am excited about joining BT particularly at a time when the business is gaining momentum and investing in tech transformation and simplification to enhance the adviser and investor experience.”

BT is the only platforms business owned by a big four bank, following Westpac’s decision to retain the business last year, and BT Panorama is one of the biggest platforms with just over $110 billion in funds under management, and 243,000 Australians’ investments and retirement savings.
