BT Wrap is on the move

At BT, our goal is to ensure you have access to the best platform experience we can provide.

That’s why we are intending to migrate your BT Wrap account to a newer technology system called BT Panorama.

BT Panorama will give you access to some new features like the ability to access your portfolio anywhere, anytime via our BT Panorama mobile app.

There will be changes to your account as a result of migration including changes to features and terms and conditions. More details can be found in the FAQs section. We will ensure you are kept up to date by sending you communications and updating the information available on this page over the coming months.

1. Ensure your details are up to date

To prepare for a smooth migration, it is important that we have your current personal details on record including your email address,
mobile phone number and postal address. We may also need to collect additional information from you and we will contact your
financial adviser; however, we will contact your adviser prior to migrating your account to collect this information. If information is still missing, this may limit your options for accessing your account after migration. 

2. Migration dates confirmed

As we have a large number of accounts migrating to BT Panorama, we are not migrating all accounts at the same time. We will send a communication to you and your adviser to confirm when your account is migrating. You will also receive a "Significant Event Notice" (SEN) which will provide you with additional information on any changes to your account that will occur as part of migration. You will also access this notice at the bottom of this webpage when it becomes available.  

3. Limited ability to transact

There will be some limitations on the transactions that can be carried out prior to migration. These are outlined in the table below. If you need to transact during this time, please contact us. If you do need to urgently access your funds, we may need to delay your 
migration to a later date.

4. Migration weekend

Once your account has successfully migrated, you will receive a confirmation message. You will also receive instructions for registering for online access to your BT Panorama account. If for any reason the migration of your account did not proceed as planned, we will let you know, and you can continue to access your BT Wrap account as you have in the past.  

5. Register for online access

If you would like to be able to access your account online, you will need to register for online access. Instructions for doing this will be included in your confirmation message that will be emailed to you after your account has been migrated. View our step-by-step registration guide.

Why are you proposing the migration to BT Panorama?

Our goal is to ensure our customers have access to the best platform experience we can provide, which we feel is BT Panorama.

BT has developed BT Panorama as a contemporary platform that gives you access to some great new features like the ability to access your portfolio anytime
anywhere via our BT Panorama mobile app.

What will happen to my BT Wrap account?

When the proposed migration occurs, your BT Wrap account will be transitioned to the BT Panorama operating system. You will be sent instructions on how to login to BT Panorama to access the new features available.

In relation to BT Investment Wrap, the terms and conditions applying to your
account will also be updated however you will technically remain in the same
Investor Directed Portfolio Service (product).

In relation to BT SuperWrap, you will remain a member of the same
superannuation fund but will be subject to the terms of the Panorama Super plan rather than the terms of the SuperWrap plan.

When will the proposed migration to BT Panorama happen?

Our intention is for this to take place in stages between late 2020 and Mid 2021. We are planning to migrate accounts in several small groups, with each group 
occurring over a specific weekend. We will be in touch over the coming months to
inform you of your planned migration date.
