BT appoints Chief Investment Officer

BT Financial Group (BTFG) today announced it has appointed Mr Corrin Collocott to the position of Chief Investment Officer.

Corrin joined the Group in November 2015 as Head of Diversified Portfolios.

He has more than 20 years’ proven experience in financial services, leading robust investment strategies across a number of multi asset class and alternative asset class portfolios.

Mr John Shuttleworth, BTFG General Manager Platforms and Investments says while acting in the role Corrin has done an outstanding job developing BT’s investment philosophy and he was pleased to be able to confirm the appointment.

“As the superannuation sector continues to grow while facing into a challenging investment environment it is imperative we have specialist investment services to meet the needs of fund members through all life stages and into retirement,” Mr Shuttleworth said.

“Corrin’s understanding of the capital markets, portfolio construction and investment managers will allow us to seek every opportunity to boost returns, as well as the flexibility to adapt to the ever-changing market conditions.”

Mr Collocott will commence in the role immediately.

“I look forward to the continued positive momentum in our investments business, delivering strong outcomes for our customers,” Mr Shuttleworth said.
