Meet Tara Sutton, State Director, Distribution QLD
Heading up a distribution team in Queensland that services around 400 financial planning practices, Tara gets to meet many advisers.
She’s passionate about helping her clients – supporting them in using their tech, making introductions to new business partners or bringing recruits to their practice. “I care about them,” she says simply. “We thrive when they succeed, and they can trust my team and I to be there when it counts.”
Family-focused Tara is also invested in helping more women enter the financial services arena, and has created a podcast addressing this issue and championing female leaders in the industry.
She’s hugely optimistic about the future of the financial advice industry, saying there’s never been a better time to be involved than right now. And, while there’s a lot of hard work involved, there’s also plenty of time for fun. “BT has always allowed me to bring my whole self to work,” she smiles.
