Regular contributions

You can put money into super regularly each pay day by getting payroll to automatically deduct the money from your pay into your super account. There are no forms to fill in, it can all be done online – it’s that simple!

To make regular after tax contributions

  • Go to the Westpac intranet and log onto Peoplexpres

  • Click on organise a pay deduction (under the Organise your pay section)

  • Click on Add

  • Click on Superannuation

  • As a Defined Benefit member, choose either Employee nominated contributions - DB, or Employee SuperSave contributions - DB (depending on which type of contribution you want to make)

  • Enter the % of your salary you’d like to put into super

  • Enter the date you’ll like deductions to stop

  • Click confirm

Westpac payroll will process your request and automatically send your contributions 
to us each pay.

To make before tax (salary sacrifice) contributions

  • Go to the Westpac intranet and log onto Peoplexpress

  • Click Manage your Salary Sacrifice items (under the Organise your pay section)

  • Enter the date you’d like to start making before tax contributions, click Next

  • To read Westpac's policy on salary sacrificing to super, click Superannuation or click Next to continue

  • Check your salary package details, then click Update

  • Go to the section called Superannuation

  • Enter the % amount you want to put into your super under Value 1 or enter an annual dollar amount under Value 2

  • Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click Save

Westpac payroll will process your request and automatically send your contributions
to us each pay.
