BT SuperWrap Essentials provides access to over 70 managed funds as well as insurance in one secure online account. It provides you and your adviser with the control, choice, flexibility and service you need to have a diversified super or retirement portfolio.
BT SuperWrap Essentials is generally only available through registered financial advisers.
Depending on your needs, it offers 2 options:

Personal Super Plan
A flexible and tax-effective superannuation plan offering you access to a wide range of investment options. The minimum initial investment is $5,000 or $2,000 with a regular investment plan of $100 per month. -
Account Based Pension
A pension plan that allows you to turn your superannuation savings into a flexible income stream in retirement. The minimum initial investment is $25,000.
Investment options
A wide choice of investment options means you can match your investments to your risk profile. BT SuperWrap Essentials offeres you a single point of access to over 70 managed funds from 24 different investment managers meaning you can diversify across different asset classes and across investment styles and fund managers. You also have the flexibility to easily switch your investments between managed funds should your needs change.
Simple administration
You and your adviser can develop a portfolio customised to suit your individual needs. A SuperWrap Essentials account also consolidates your investment and insurance information and provides you with a tailored set of reports to help you keep track of your money and simplify putting together your tax return.
24/7 online access
You can access your account online by logging into our secure investor site or if you prefer you can access your account information via our 24/7 telephone voice response service.
Insurance options
You have access to the following insurance options:
- Term Life,
- Total and Permanent Disability (TPD), and
- Income Protection Insurance.
This makes it easy to ensure you always have the cover you need.
