Forms to arrange an investment transaction

    Use this form to advance funds out of your BT Margin Loan. Alternatively, log into BT Online (opens in a new window) or call Customer Relations on 1800 816 222.

  • Use this form to set up or change a direct debit arrangement so that you can credit or debit your bank account from your margin loan. You can use this form to request either a monthly interest deduction, a one-off deduction or regular deductions. Once your direct debit request has been received you can call Customer Relations on 1800 816 222 to request a transaction.

  • Use this form to complete a managed fund transaction. Transactions include initial and additional applications, redemptions, distribution amendments and establishing or cancelling regular gearing.

  • Please ensure that you read these Terms and Conditions before you apply for a BT IGCMA.

Forms to vary your security or loan

  • Complete this form if you would like to fix your interest rate on your BT Margin Loan.

    Use this form to lodge shares and other listed securities as security on to your margin loan. This includes lodging third party security.

  • Lodge Managed Funds (PDF 647 KB)

    Use the Australian Standard Transfer Form (ASTF) to lodge managed funds as security on your margin loan. This includes lodging third party security. Completed forms must be returned by post and not faxed.

  • Complete Section A of this form to use your existing BT Margin Lending account to settle trades placed on your Westpac Online Investing account.

    Use this form to transfer your existing margin loan with another provider to BT Margin Lending, for either a full or partial refinance.

  • Use this form when security on a BT Margin Loan Facility is being provided (owned) by someone other than the borrower.

  • Use this form to apply for a credit limit increase or decrease, or where BT Margin Lending has requested an updated financial assessment from you.

  • Loan Repayment Form

    This form is used to payout and/or terminate your BT Margin Loan. If you require this form, please contact our BT Customer Relations on 1800 816 222 between 8.00am and 6.30pm Sydney time.

  • Use this form to add or amend the contact details for a borrower, third party security provider or guarantor. Alternatively, log into BT Online (opens in a new window).

  • Amend any discrepancies in the registration details of an Issuer sponsored share holding, so that the shares can be lodged as security to your margin loan. Registration details at the share registry must exactly match those on your margin loan.

  • Complete this form to add/change or remove a financial adviser on your current margin loan facility. Complete this form with your financial adviser.

  • Use this form to appoint someone to operate your account on your behalf.

  • Use this guide when a borrower, guarantor or authorised representative on a BT Margin Loan Facility needs to be identified as part of the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing (AML/CTF) Act 2006. This is usually required where any of these parties are not existing Westpac customers.

  • Use this form to register for electronic notices to help you manage your margin loan position.

  • Applicants of a new BT Margin Loan who reside in Tasmania must complete this form in addition to the BT Margin Lending Application Form.
