Use one of the forms below to arrange a transaction, to vary your security or loan type, or to update the details of your investment.

Forms to arrange an investment transaction

  1. Cash Advance Request (PDF 70KB)
     Use this form to advance funds out of your BT Margin Loan. Alternatively, log into BT Online (opens in a new window) or call customer relations.

  2. Direct Debit Request Form (PDF 70KB)
     Use this form to set up or change a direct debit arrangement so that you can credit or debit your bank account from your margin loan. You can use this form to request either a monthly interest deduction, a one-off deduction or regular deductions. Once your direct debit request has been received you can call customer relations to request a transaction.

  3. Managed Funds Transaction Form (PDF 60KB)
     Use this form to complete a managed fund transaction. Transactions include initial and additional applications, redemptions, distribution amendments and establishing or amending regular gearing.

Forms to vary your security or loan

  1. Lodging Shares Form (PDF 60KB)
     Use this form to lodge shares and other listed securities as security on to your margin loan. This includes lodging third party security.

  2. Lodge Managed Funds (PDF 160KB)
     Use the Australian Standard Transfer Form (ASTF) to lodge managed funds as security on your margin loan. This includes lodging third party security. Completed forms must be returned by post and not faxed.

  3. Switch Form A: From Standard to Margin Lending_Online (PDF 160KB)
     Use this form to switch your existing BT Margin Lending Standard Margin Loan to the BT Margin Lending_Online loan facility.

  4. Switch Form B: From Margin Lending_Online to Standard (PDF 70KB)
     Use this form to switch your existing BT Margin Lending_Online loan facility to a standard BT Margin Lending Standard Margin Loan.

  5. Transfer of Security (PDF 70 KB)
     Use this form to transfer securities from your margin loan or to change the beneficial ownership of your securities.

  6. Loan Termination Request (PDF 70KB)
     Use this form to payout and/or terminate your BT Margin Loan.

  7. Australian Standard Transfer Form (PDF 20KB)
     Change the beneficial or legal ownership of a managed fund or listed security.

  8. Loan Refinance Form (PDF 70KB)
     Use this form to transfer your existing margin loan with another provider to BT Margin Lending, for either a full or partial refinance.

Forms to update your account details

  1. Contact Details Amendments (PDF 70KB)
     Use this form to add or amend the contact details for a borrower, third party security provider or guarantor. Alternatively, log into BT Online (opens in a new window).

  2. Name Correction and Indemnity Request Form (PDF 60KB)
     Amend any discrepancies in the registration details of an Issuer sponsored share holding, so that the shares can be lodged as security to your margin loan. Registration details at the share registry must exactly match those on your margin loan.

  3. BT Online Registration (PDF 60KB)
     Use this form to register for BT Online (opens in a new window) (the secure section of this website) to view your loan details or to arrange a cash advance. Alternatively, call customer relations.

  4. Authorised Representative (PDF 60KB)
     Use this form to appoint someone to operate your account. This is mandatory if the borrower is residing outside of Australia.
