How do I...?
Link accounts
<< Back to using phone and online services
If you have more than one BT investment (such as a managed fund, superannuation or margin loan) you can link your accounts together to streamline logging in.
- Decide which account or Investor Number you would like to use as the one to access all of your BT investments. This will be your ‘primary account’.
- Log in to the secure section of this website using your ‘primary account’ Investor Number.
- Select My Profile.
- Select Link Account.
- Add an account by entering the Investor Number and PIN.
- Repeat for as many accounts as you wish to link.
From now on, you'll only need to use the Investor Number and password for your primary account in order to access all of your linked accounts.
Selecting your primary account
Once you've linked other accounts to your primary account, anyone who knows the investor number and password for your primary account will be able to view and transact on your linked accounts also. For this reason, think carefully when making a joint account your primary account.
Changing your primary account
You can change your primary account at any time.
Your consolidated view will continue to be available even if you change your primary account. Your password is transportable - you can carry it across to your new primary account. So when you next log in, you must use the investor number of your (new) primary account along with the same password you always use.
