Properly-authorised transactions

To protect you from unauthorised use of your account, requests sent to us must be signed as follows:

  • joint borrowers - either person may sign.
  • company borrowers - under company seal or authorised signatories.
  • authorised persons - other people you have authorised may sign on your behalf (you will need to sign an Authority to Operate (PDF 50KB) form). The owner of an investment must authorise transactions relating to it. For example, a borrower cannot authorise the redemption of a managed fund investment that belongs to a third party.
