Needlestick Benefit

IIf you are employed as a medical professional, then our Needlestick Benefit is an optional Policy available to you. You can be covered for up to $500,000 of cover under this Policy and we will pay the Needlestick Benefit sum insured if you are diagnosed with:

  • occupationally acquired HIV, or
  • occupationally acquired hepatitis B and C.

as defined in the PDS.

The Needlestick Benefit is available as an optional benefit on all BT Protection Plans Policies.

Children’s Benefit

Our Children’s Benefit option can provide certainty, while protecting your children, if the unthinkable happened to them. Children’s Benefit pays a lump sum benefit if your child suffers from one of a range of specific conditions. You can apply to insure your children aged between 2 and 14 inclusive, up to a maximum of $200,000 of cover, per child.

The Children’s Benefit is available as an optional benefit on all BT Protection Plans Policies.
