If you forget your password, we can send a new one to the email address we have on file for you. This means that you’ll need to keep us updated with your current email address, and that you should keep the password that you use to access your email account in a safe place.
For security reasons we won't send a new password to the email address that you enter on screen, unless it matches the one that we have on file.
Call 132 135, Monday to Friday 8.00am to 6.30pm (AEST) to get a new password over the phone.
Lost or stolen password?
If you believe your BT Online password or PIN is, or may be, known by someone else, you can either change your password via BT Online (opens in a new window), or call BT Customer Relations immediately on 132 135 from Australia (+61 132 135 from overseas) and ask for your BT Online account to be made inactive.

Employers
If you've forgotten your password or are locked out of your BTOE account, you can get a colleague who also has a BTOE login to either reset it for you, or unlock your account for you.
They can do this for you by logging in to BTOE (opens a new window) and unlocking/resetting your account under the "User Accounts" menu.
