Regular communication

Upon joining the BT Lifetime Super - Employer Plan or BT Business Super, BT will communicate with you and your employees on a regular basis to ensure your plan is running smoothly.

Employer Communication

  • New Employer Pack confirming your benefit design details and your employees' insurance arrangements (if applicable)
  • A Policy Committee Kit if you have 50 or more employees
  • Pre Review Pack to confirm your employees' detail, contributions and insurance benefits (if applicable) before financial year end, to ensure their Annual Statements are correct
  • Annual Report

Employee Communication

On joining the plan members receive:

  • Wallet-sized card with their member details
  • New Member Statement
  • Employee Booklet
  • In a separate mailing (for security reasons), they'll also receive a PIN for access to BT Link and BT Online

Annual communications

Each year your employees will receive an Annual Statement detailing:

  • Contributions made
  • Investment balances
  • Fees paid
  • Insurance benefits
  • Their asset allocation and investment strategy

They also receive an Annual Report covering:

  • Product enhancements
  • Fund performance
  • A review of the operation of the fund for the last financial year

They will also receive a newsletter called “Super Investor” featuring topical news and articles, updates and offers.

Leaving the plan

On leaving the plan your employee receive:

  • A withdrawal statement
  • Exit Form offering them a fee-free transfer into the BT Lifetime - Personal Plan and an opportunity to continue their existing insurance arrangements.
  • Members of BT Business Super will be provided with an option to continue their superannuation in BT Retained Benefit
