Frequently asked questions
| Why is annual salary so important? | If your employee details we have on our records are not accurate they may not receive the appropriate level of insurance cover. This may mean they could be entitled to more insurance, or have cover that they may not be eligible for in the event of a claim. This could be detrimental to your employees or their beneficiaries in the event of their death or injury. |
| Why are TFNs so important? | TFNs became more important in super from 1 July 2007. Contributions tax is due after 30 June 2008. SG contributions may be taxed up to 46.5% if members accounts do not have a valid TFN by 30 June 2008 (ie: 15% Contributions tax PLUS 31.5% No-TFN Contributions tax). |
