  • Policy committee establishment assistance
    Policy Committees are required where employers have 50 or more employees or where 5 or more employees would like to establish one.  BT will provide comprehensive tools and support to assist you establish and manage your Policy Committee, including step by step guidance and templates you can use with employees or in meetings.  Larger plans can obtain additional support establishing and managing a policy committee.
  • Trustee responsibilities
    As the Trustee of the Fund we handle compliance with legislation, lodgement of returns and the calculation of taxes as well as all reporting and member enquiries.
  • Plan flexibility
    You can establish different rules for different groups of employees for contributions and insurance.
  • Online access
    Our dedicated employer website BT Online Employer (BTOE) allows you to get control of your administration.
    You can save time and paperwork using BTOE to submit contributions, add new employees, amend employee details, transfer payroll information and access a range of reports.
  • E-newlstters
    Our e-newsletter, called Employer Super Update, is designed to help keep employers up to date with legislative changes you need to know about, product enhancements,  topical issues occurring, and tips based on our most common questions received here at BT. Each e-newsletter also includes a performance and market summary for you.

    Members have access to an interactive educational website, including risk profilers and calculators, plus flyers and videos.  Educational seminars can be held for larger plans.
  • Spouse accounts
    Your employees can set up a spouse superannuation account into which both partners can make contributions.
  • Free superannuation consolidation assistance
    Consolidation can save your employees time and money.  We can help your employees bring together their multiple superannuation accounts.
  • Competitive insurance premiums
    Insurance is provided by AA+ rated AIA (trading as AIG Life) at competative group rates.
