Double wins for BTIM
BT Investment Management won two awards on 4 September 2008, the Standard and Poor's Fund Manager of the Year awards: Australian Equity Large Cap Fund Manager of the Year and Fund Manager of the Year.
"S&P awarded BT Investment Management Limited the coveted Fund Manager of the Year title. This was in part to recognise its established and professional team, and in part to commend the recent changes to its business structure, which Standard & Poor’s views in a positive light. “BT offers a good suite of Australian equity products across a range of risk profiles, including equity-income and ethical-investing products,” said Jeff Mitchell, a director in the Fund Services team.
"Winning the S&P Fund Manager of the Year award and the Large Cap Equity manager of the Year award is a fantastic result, reflecting BTIM's ability to provide a stable, attractive home for quality investment talent," said Dirk Morris, BTIM's CEO and CIO.

Standard & Poor’s Fund Awards are recognised as the pre-eminent accolade in the funds management industry through out the world. The Awards, in their 5th year in Australia, acknowledge leading fund managers in overall and sector categories.
